How to correctly mount the Mad4One Saddle (Slim or Comfort) with Composite Base.

The composite base has inside it the threaded female parts for the mounting screws.
It is very important that the screws are inserted at the correct angle so as not to force the threaded part.

If the screws do not have the correct direction and you force them in trying to screw them in you will ruin the threaded part to the point of risking ungluing it.

To avoid this mistake we provide two sets of screws.
The first consists of 4 very long screws (35mm) and the second of screws of the right length (20mm).

First put in the 4 long screws, screw each screw in only 5 mm (5 or 6 full turns).

When all four long screws are inserted correctly and you can screw them in without any effort you should proceed by screwing the 4 long screws to the end. When the screws reach the end you must proceed by tightening them correctly ( quite strongly) so that the saddle does not move.

At this point the 4 long screws will very noticeably push up the foam and cover.

Now you must proceed by replacing the 4 long screws one by one with the 20mm screws.
Tighten each screw correctly before removing the next one.
At the end foam and cover return to their original shape and the saddle has been fitted correctly.
